Blessed Are they who hunger and thirst for righteousnessFor they shall be satisfied
In this gospel reading, Jesus walks by the Sea of Galilee and sees Peter and Andrew. He says, “Come follow me.” and “at once,” they leave their nets and go with Jesus. After that, they pass by James and John, mending their fishing nets. Jesus calls them and they go immediately.
There must have been a deep hunger in these men for righteousness to be so spontaneous in their response. And so, they were satisfied.
