Tuesday of Holy WeekJohn 13:21-33, 36-38
Today’s gospel passage is the Last Supper. We hear the apostles question Jesus as to who will betray Him. Judas dips his bread, as Jesus fortells, and then Judas is asked to leave by Our Lord. We understand the request of Jesus, but the apostles do not. They think Judas is being sent on a mission for Jesus.
We also hear of Jesus’ prediction that Peter will deny Him three times before the cock crows.
Two forms of denial. Judas and Peter. One repents, the other does not.
This is a huge lesson for us, huge! Do you want to be in heaven for all eternity? Ask for forgiveness. Just ask.
There is nothing God wants more than to have you in heaven with Him. Ask.
